This product really does soften and exfoliate your skin without the usual wear and tear that comes with exfoliation. Though I am yet to see any improvements in my pore size (been using this for 3 weeks), I am sold on how soft my skin is. This cleanser also does a great job of cleaning without drying out. As someone who has combination skin, I find a lot of cleansers just dry my skin out leading to more sebum production making my face a greasy mess by the end of the day, but this isn’t drying. I found that if I follow the “60-second wash” rule coined by Nai (@labeautyologist) has also helped.
MAC recently came out with this colour correct palette, and it is the palette of my dreams. They are full coverage, so a little goes a long way, and they are dark-skin friendly! Not only can you cover your dark spots, this palettes multifunctionality also goes beyond colour correcting. You can contour, too! A lot of the contour palettes available at reasonable prices are not dark-skin friendly, but with this palette, you can mix the three dark tones to achieve your desired contour shade.
As you can see the correctors are easily covered, I used the Fenty Pro Filt’r foundation in 470. The shades don’t mix with your foundation but have great coverage.
I don’t know what has taken me so long to find this gem, but I’m happy I did with the help of Tobi, my Sephora angel. This cleansing oil does a fantastic job of really getting into my pores, and helping me get rid of all the build-up from the day. Removing makeup has never been easier, and because it’s an oil cleanser, it removes dirt without stripping your skin of the natural oils that leave it looking supple, radiant and youthful. This gentle cleanser also does a great job of hydrating while cleansing, which helps when using other cleansers like PTR’s which can be harsh if you have sensitive skin. Rating: 4/5
